Throughout history, national scholars have been respected; at home and abroad, poetic immortals have been revered! Qinglian Town, the hometown of the great poet Li Bai, was formerly known as "Qinglian" Township. It got its name from the two rivers surrounding it, Qingxi and Lianshui (now the Fujiang River and Panjiang River).
