The Pink Bamboo House was the former residence of Li Bai's younger sister, Li Yueyuan, located at the foot of Taihua Mountain to the north of Qinglian Town. In front of the Fenzhu Tower, there is a stele inscribed with the "Record of the Reconstruction of Fenzhu Tower" erected in the 17th year of the Daoguang reign (1837), which reads: "The Fenzhu Tower was built by Mr. Li Qinglian for his sister Yueyuan." From the Tang Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, the worship has never ceased. It is said that Li Yueyuan often lived here with his girlfriend Zhang Xue 'e, enjoying themselves by playing the zither, chess, calligraphy and painting. At dawn and dusk, people often splashed the powder water after washing their faces on the green bamboo downstairs. Over time, a layer of white powder covered the bamboo, and thus later generations called this building the "Powder Bamboo Building".
